Requa Maerpiece SHOWCASE PROPERTY 3www.SANDIEGOPREMIER.net This estate, representing what Requa called his "Southern California Style," beautifully combines elements of Spain, the Mediterranean, and the missions. White stucco, heavily tiled roofs, wrought iron ornamentation, and Moorish arches are among some of the characteristics found in the famous architecture of Richard Requa. The Alcazar, in Seville, Spain, was used as a model for the lavish gardens and courtyards, including a reproduction of the famous Moorish fountain.
